Crystal city evening toastmasters

 I am the Secretary and Treasurer of our Crystal City Evening Toastmasters club here in Arlington, VA. I joined Toastmasters because I knew that public speaking is a fear and a weakness for me. I’m a person who likes to challenge and better myself so I sought out a Toastmasters club that I could join and am grateful to have found this great group of Crystal City Evening Toastmasters. I am thoroughly enjoying my time with the group and continue to improve both my leadership and communication skills. With each speech I give, the fear lessens and that weakness is gradually turning into strength. Our club is full of active, positive, enthusiastic participants at each meeting and we always look forward to sharing our meeting with guests. Outside of Toastmasters, I have worked in software for about seven years filling many roles including client relationship management, support, testing/QA, project management, training, and documentation. By far, the majority of my experience has been with Federal government clients.
